"The romantic Hotel"

Hotel Sydhavsøerne  operates the old and cozy Hotel Liselund with respect for the hotel's history. The hotel was built in 1952/53.
Actually, it was built and started up as Europe's first motel on the American concept. The main building today which includes a modern kitchen, restaurants, meeting rooms etc..  were the families who drove the small motel, slept and stayed. It was in the basement, (wich today is the stock and wine cellar for Hotel Liselund) where the little family's private residence place were.
 
Dining room, and kitchen at ground level and a few rooms on the first floor. With The Hotels beautiful location on Guldborgsund and view to Nykøbing Falster city the  harbor and the beautiful big old garden, got the little motel much to do.
 
Throughout the 60s there was little much space left, and the family who drove the cozy little motel, decided to expand it with an additional 10 double rooms to the many regular customers.
 
After several years of prosperity for the motel, it was time for yet another expansion and an upgrade, so the small motel was now a great hotel with a maned reception, restaurant, etc..
 
In 2008 the Sydhavsøerne Hotel ApS with Charlotte Kaisen at the lead, the hotel had some small upgrades on the rooms. The hotel has got alot of  respect for the "old" style. Today, the hotel is upgraded in the restaurant, kitchen and all the 24 double rooms, all of today look cozy, but individual furnishings, new beds, TVs, radio, internet access etc..
 
Hotel Sydhavsøerne ApS, with Charlotte Kaisen in the lead, will continue with the romantic and cozy style Hotel Liselund has always stood for. However, the hotel will be constantly upgraded regularly, so it meets the requirements of our customers have a functional hotel in beautiful natural surroundings.
 
This applies both to the hotel many travelers, conference guests, and last but not least, the many locals who use Hotel Liselund for parties etc..
